How many of you were able to minor in something (like Spanish) in nursing school? If I take some classes during my pre-reqs I think I will be able to accomplish this. What is your take?

I think having a language as a minor is a wonderful idea! I dont start NS until the fall so I cant tell you how hard it would be in terms of time management, but I know for a fact that it will look great on a resume.
It may even increase your chances of being hired depending on the state you're in. Places like New York, Florida, Texas, California, etc that have a lot of spanish speaking immigrants would be very pleased with the fact that youre knowledgeable of the language.

A couple of my classmates have minors. We have two years of prereqs so that is how they are able to do it. They also do a class here and there during some nursing semesters. Go for it, Spanish is a good language to learn given the census these days.
