Midterm study guide for FON241

Does anyone have a completed midterm study guide for FON241-Principles of Human Nutrition? My youngest has made it almost impossible for me to get even close to finishing this.

I was also wondering if anyone has a completed study guide for Rio Salado's Fon 241 Nutrition course? I have been working really hard to study for the upcoming midterm, but there is just so much material to grasp that I am worried I am not going to learn anything in time. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm taking my Midterm exam tomorrow. Any information you guys can offer would greatly be appreciated. I have gone over my quizzes, my case studies, and my essays as well as the questions that were potential essay questions but didn't make the cut. I'm really stressed out over this midterm. I have found the quizzes to be pretty tough and if the questions on the midterm aren't straight from the quizzes, I think I'm screwed. Help.......

I took the midterm several weeks ago and scored a B on it. I was really worried about my grade going into the test, but the questions were really straightforward and pretty simple. There are two parts for multiple choice questions, each with 40 questions. The questions were worth 2 points apiece- 80 points for questions and then 40 points for the four essays for a total of 100 points all together. The teacher said beforehand that the exam was worth over 320 some points, but this was inaccurate info.

(I should note though that the questions did not come from the quizzes at all.) The one thing that helped me prepare for the test was taking the various multiple choice chapter tests from the book companion website (11th edition).

There were four essays on the midterm. Three out of the four were ones that were previously assigned in class to to submit as essays for homework. If you like, I can tell you which ones were on my test. Also, if you need any other help, just let me know.

Do you still remember the questions on the midterm? I am considering starting the class but nervous about the workload and not sure if it is too much?

The workload is very extensive, however, it really allowed me to gain a lot of valuable knowledge about nutrition. I would spend on average 4-5 hours a week on homework/assignments/quizzes/essays. If you are expecting to take an easy class- do not sign up for it through Rio Salado. I would recommend a different college. I received an A in the class, however, I really had to work for it.

Please don't share answers/questions to tests. This is CHEATING!!!

And...since many educators are members at AN, you might just find one of the other posters is your instructor!

Is FON 241 the class you need for nursing school at the community colleges as far as nutrition goes? I am in my final semester at ASU and am wondering what classes I could take there that would translate into the nursing program at SCC.
