Hi all,

I just got the email from GBCN saying congrats on your acceptance and invited to the social. Have not received the letter yet either. Excited to meet everyone! My stats were

GPA: 2.6

TEAS: 79

I will be graduating with a Biology BS from UGA this Fall; Had a strong essay and meh midterm grades. Don't give up hope! I believe prayer was a big component in getting me into Mercer. Keep your head up guys!!!

I agree scarletlettet. I prayed about this acceptance. I really wanted to get in.

Teas 77

overall GPA 2.7

math GPA 3.0

science GPA 4.0

I was just accepted! I have nutrition and abnormal psychology to take still before fall. Unfortunately my school that I am at now does not offer them. Does any one know if I will be able to take them at mercer this summer? Or if there are any schools with online schools like GPC? GPC did not offer nutrition this summer either.

Thanks!

hi capayne, i'm in the same boat. i was accepted but needed those 2 classes. Nicole recommended Brigham Young university which is an online school and the classes are $500 each. they were nice but they refused to accept my pell grant so i'm now taking the classes at Weber state university which is also an online school

congratulations on everyone who has been accepted.

Does anyone know how long the nutrition course will take through BYU and if it will be able to be completed before the start of classes? I want to make sure it's possible to finish before spending that amount of money! Also, how long was everyone's essay? I could go into serious detail about what lead me to nursing but I don't want to write my life's story haha!

Where did everyone send their transcripts? To Mercer specifically or GBCN by typing their address? GBCN does not come up under my options of recipients

I sent mine to Mercer University I think they had an option for Atlanta campus which is where GBCN is I believe and they received it!

My school doesn't have the Atlanta campus listed. I went to University of Alabama so maybe it hasn't been updated? haha I sent Nicole an email just in case because I plan to expedite it and do not want to have to pay that fee twice

Aldo, I completed the class in about 6 weeks and was fairly lazy about it. You could complete it in even less time if you really buckled down.

Thanks Enigmatism! I submitted everything the 3rd and according to my transcript tracking both have been received by the school. Does anyone know the turn around wait time? I am so nervous but Nicole was incredibly sweet and gave me some confidence!

For those that are taking/ have taken Nutrition or any other class at BYU, is it tough to complete it in a short amount of time? I have 15 different lesson plans for nutrition and also 4 proctored tests which worries me. I also saw that you have to go to a certified testing center for each test.
