  2. Don't listen to windsurfer 8. I work in a level 1 trauma center in GA as a PCT and some of the best nurses we have struggled in school. The key is to continue working hard and doing your best if you really have a passion for nursing. Retake your algebra class and also take some easy classes to get your GPA up. Also they are some private schools that have outstanding programs and are very well respected and prepare you to pass the nclex. Mercer university (Georgia baptist college of nursing) is one of them. They are expensive however they are well respected and have an amazing program. I was accepted into their program with an overall GPA of 2.8 Science GPA of 4.0 and math GPA of 3.0. It depends on the school. Good luck and don't give up if it's your passion to become a nurse.
  3. Hi all I'm 44 and just got accepted to Mercer (GA Baptist College of Nursing) I'm super excited and nervous. I have been working as a PCT for 2 years on a Burn ICU Unit. I think it's never to late to follow you dreams. Good luck to us all!!
  4. Hi everyone i did get accepted to Mercer. I got my letter 2 days ago. It's very expensive I will accept the offer however Im still waiting to hear from Ga highlands and west ga tech

  6. Hi everyone i got in GBCN. Just got an email inviting to a meet and greet for May 4th. Got the email before my acceptance letter. Can't wait to meet everyone.

  11. Hi Raymarie 73 Did Gordon state set up your Ctt date for you. I just applied this week for fall 2016. Hopefully I will get called back to take the Ctt. Please let me know how it goes for you. I will be praying you ace it.
