Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the site, but I have applied to GBCON for Fall 2016. My application is complete and my check has been cashed. I'm a little concerned because I still have A LOT of classes to complete prior to Fall. I've loaded up on my classes for spring and summer; I'm hoping that take that into account when making their decision.

Good luck to everyone that is applying and to those who have already been accepted!!

Have you heard anything from admissions yet?

Housing and transportation costs will honestly depend on where you live and what your situation is. Some people take out loans and work part time, others have parents or spouses to help support them financially. If you live an hour away and are driving to campus & clinical rotations every week, you might spend a lot on gas. I took 18 credits over the spring before matriculating, and 3 classes over the summer. Many of my classmates did something similar, so I would not fret too much over that.

Hi guys! I am thinking about applying to GA Baptist as well. I recently applied to Clayton State (fingers crossed). I wanted to apply for a 2 year as a back up (GPC), but I missed the deadline because my TEAS was a written exam. Did I see that someone is already accepted (congrats if this is true)?! I thought the deadline was April 1st. I will make a decision on whether I will apply this week. This whole process is so nail biting. Anyway, I wish you guys the best of luck.

They do rolling admissions and the application opens in September, so I imagine a lot of people have heard back.

I just applied and I am curious as to how long it has taken everyone to find out their acceptance?

Hi everyone!

I applied to the school about two weeks ago, finally got my acceptance today! So excited to start in the fall and meet everyone!

That's awesome! Do you mind sharing your stats? Like gpa, TEAS score, and so on? I turned in everything except my transcript because GA state's system is down, and I can't send my official transcript until March 17th

Honestly, I'm still in shocked I heard back so fast because my stats aren't ideal:

GPA: 3.34 maybe 3.4 depending on what classes they took

Science GPA: 3.22 right now

TEAS: 78 and I was in the process of retaking this actually

Basically, I think my essay made up for my okay stats, I made sure it was perfect.

I'm at GSU too and it is annoying their system is down, but the 17th is next week. Are you able to grab your transcripts during break?

That's what's up! I have a friend with similar stats who got in as well last semester. No, I can't grab them during spring break, because the whole system is down. No one can retrieve my transcript, not even the enrollment office. I have to wait until the 17th.

hey y'all! i am trying to figure out more information about mercer's nursing school but am having some trouble actually finding any info! does anyone know how many people are typically in each year at GBOC?

Typically around 150.
