Hi everyone!
I am in my second semester of nursing school and am looking for some advice on how to tackle a cumulative final for med/surg 1.
This semester has been hard for me.. I didn't do too amazing on the first two exams I had but I really bucked down and did well on the last two. Now it is up to the cumulative final to determine if I pass this semester or not. For my program I have to get a 75.0 to pass and right now I am at 72. For me to pass this semester I have to get an 86 on the final, with the way my exams are weighted.
Can anyone give me some advice or inspiration on how they got the grade they needed to pass? Am I aiming too high??
Thank you for the help in advance. :)

Read the relevant areas in your med-surg book, review chapters in an NCLEX book (Saunders is good), practice NCLEX type questions, review your notes, ask your instructors for tips, and ask your classmates what they do to study.

What is Med Surg I exactly? I am dealing with the same issue except I have to study for a final I have never been to class for. I transferred to another school and I have to take their final to get credit. The school I went to used chapters all over the Ignativicius text. Some were even towards the end so I can't just divide the book in half. My new school uses the same text though. I'm hoping some questions are the same.
You should request the class syllabus to know what to focus your studying on.
