MDS Coordinator

Just wondering if anyone here has done MDS work. I recently interviewed for a position, but am really unsure if it's going to be my cup of tea. I've always been a hands-on, LTC nurse - and not sure if I can stop being hands-on to do a paperwork type position.

What are the ups & downs of MDS work? I'm afraid of accepting the position, start the training, and find out I absolutely hate it.
