MDC Fall 2011 =)

Hi guys! Who else is applying for MDC Fall 2011?

I am also applying for FIU-- I was accepted last year to MDC but for financial and personal reasons could not attend. :'( Who else will be applying to Generic FT? Please state what program you will be applying to!

I will be taking the TEAS sometime in March, in which I will also be taking the HESI A2 for FIU. So I might as well be studying for both, lol. Anybody taken the TEAS at MDC? Share your experiences here! :) I will be using a general book for nursing school entrance exams... it's by Barron... and I will be studying my math from a nursing calculation book, and my sciences from my anatomy, biology, and other notes. Is it true there is geology on the exam? How irrelevant... lol

Well good luck to us all! :heartbeat

Tanabella,

When you get it you wont miss it!

MDC does it based on where you live i was told by an advisor i also applied to both locations all the programs.

I was told the same thing by an advisor.

whoever doesn't get in apply to the lpn program too next round its actually quicker to do the lpn rn bridge than do the part time generic. Well if i get a letter for any of the other 3 i applied to someone will have my seat. Hope everyone's okay.

I feel like a Zombie..I'm just sitting here looking at everyone's post..I have to go grocery shopping but I just don't have the desire to get in the car..this is horrible..I want tomorrow to come already to see if I get anything :banghead:

Its a possibility only homestead campus acceptance letters were sent today. I'm sure rejection letters wont be sent out until the very end when they received the final count of students who accepted the offer.

Prisci,

No, I don't think it was just homestead acceptance emails that were sent out. I know of 4 students - they were accepted for MDC Medical Center Campus. No Homestead locations for any of the 4 I know that got acceptance letters today!

Has anyone heard any significant differences between the Homestead program and Medical Center? I've never been to Homestead or that MDC campus. Thanks

I agree. How long do those accepted have to accept/decline the offer?

Your passion and motivation already puts you way ahead of the game. I got conditionally accepted, but only because I'm good at taking tests. I'm super lazy and not too motivated - so not the greatest student. People like you who have a genuine passion and love for nursing are the ones who will succeed in the long run. :)

I'm considering the part time but don't know the hours or how long it is. I'm thinking mote generic. I have a newborn and don't know how much time is spent at school clinicals etc. Dies anyone know? Days if weeks, hours? For generic full and part time
