Mayo New Grad Program Open Now

I just saw that the mayo clinic has posted its job opening for new grad. Has anyone else seen this liting because they are listing the rate of pay as $20.56. I can't believe that. Anyone think that is a mistake or are they actually going to pay that little!

No, that's about right until the new grad passes the RN board exam.

So, this is the 'nurse tech' wage until they pass their boards? I sure hope so!!

Yep, 25ish is more like it for an RN...

More like in the $26-$27 range, at least....I work there.

For a new grad? Wow, that's pretty good....It's not that high where I work for new grads...

I was making 27.45 an hr at Good Sam before I left...with 6 months experience.

Wow! Fantastic!

It's amazing how quickly the rates go up, isnt' it? It was 24 when I started. At least where I work, we get raises so that we don't get paid less than new grads ( Last year I got 7%).

I wouldn't expect that anymore - new grad salaries are probably bound to move sideways - as well was our pay!

I applied...hope I at least get an interview! :coollook:

.....

From what I was told by the Mayo recruiter at our career day it was only open for one day last monday from 1pm-5pm. I believe it might still be posted, but there is no hyperlink to apply. Sorry, I think you might have missed it. :crying2:
