    Get yourself a drug calculation book. That will give you a good idea of what you'll need to know.

    Two words: dimensional analysis.

    This evil math skill was drilled into our brains in nursing school. Well, actually just my recent education. Prior to that it was ratio proportion which seemed like a more logical form of the other one. I went through LPN school back in 2001 but the school that I went to in 2014 used the evil one for both programs, so much that if you didn't pass the math quiz, you failed the entire course for each nursing class.

    Fast forward to boards.....my LPN exam is now outdated but I had one...dealing with diaper weight output calculation...my RN...no math...just a bunch of SATA scratch my head questions...it was such a bizarre exam.
