how many hours do you study in a day?

hi

ill be taking my nclex next month. this will be my second try. I review my content for 2 hrs and answer 100 questions right after, so it might take me a total of 3-5 hrs in a day. I just want you guys to share how much time you put into studying for the nclex. And i know for a fact that its not about the quantity of hrs spent in studying but rather the quality of information absorbed from learning/reading.

thanks

i would say 3/4 hrs a day, i mostly do questions, or listen to lectures (content) as i go thru questions i write anything that am not familiar with, i look up words in the mosby dictionary, the best as it has pictures too. my friend from nursing school just passed her exam Dec, she told me she studied for 8 hrs a day. Even though iam sitting on this computer that long, i get bored easily doing the same thing so i have to mix up my studying :)

I study for like 2- 3 hrs a day. I can't read that long. I was like that in school too. I don't know. I hope I pass next month.

Hi! I will also take my 2nd try next month (Mar 9). I usually study 1-2 chapters a day (depending on the length of the chapter of course), then will do practice questions on CD and PDA, with relation to what I've just studied. Then, I see to it to rationalize wrong, even the correct ones. I don't usually count the # of hours I've spent studying. For as long as I reach my study goals/plans before the day ends, that's perfect for me. Also, I don't overstudy myself. Whenever, I feel tired or just need rest, I just do it, even if I need to watch a movie or play games to help me relax. But yeah, that's case-to-case basis too. :D Good luck to us!
