Today, I did my first blood draw!
I survived meeting an intimidating doctor.
I saw my first cardiac code. I didn't get to put to practice my CPR training which would've been yet another first but seeing all the staff working together to stabilize her was in-freaking-credible while I stood to the side and watched.
I also got to answer my nurse's phone several times which made me feel way more involved.
Overall, what an incredible first day back to clinicals! While I really enjoyed my psych rotation, I got such a rush from the code blue. Perhaps ER nursing is in my future hehe

Hey, OP! That's great, glad you experienced so much. Just some quick advice, if that is you in your picture, I would take it down. It's not a good idea to have any identifiers on social websites such as this. Better to remain anonymous.
Good luck on the rest of your journey!

What do you mean identifiers?
Your picture. If you want to remain anonymous, you should probably take your picture down. More than likely the people you work with have an allnurses account and even some people that aren't nurses are up here. If you make one slip up on this site and someone who recognizes you sees it, let's just say things may not end well. If you do not want to remain anonymous, that is up to you.
You rock. I didn't even realize I had a picture up! Thanks!
No problem! I almost did the same thing until I saw someone post that warning to someone else.

might want to use another name here too, if the one you're using is your real name...
