if you are saying the classes only combined for six credits then you are missing the lab portion. They should be four credits each for a total of eight. Could that be it?

They both had lab. My other “3 credit” courses counted as 4 credits so that shouldn’t be an issue! All of my undergraduate classes were counted as 3. For some reason other schools count them as 4 but they were worth the same. See, this is something I had asked one of the nursing professors at Century and she said that it was perfectly fine but then now I’m getting that email saying I need both first and second semester done?! Seems very weird to me! 

Yeah I would just run the degree audit. That seems weird. It'll tell you exactly what they are counting as what and which requirements are fulfilled

Hey everyone! I am getting ready to hopefully apply to century for Fall 2021. I am currently at Normandale taking my Anatomy class but think I will have to retake it. It looks like Inver and Century take your applications without Anatomy as one of the 4 classes in the first semester. Curious what the entry comp rate is for century. I also would like to apply with Inver but they require a Bio class and Normandale wanted the Organic Chem class.

Just speaking from experience. I transferred a 3 credit class which also included a lab. Century didn’t want to count the lab. Fortunately, I save all my work. I had to petition the class. I gave them a massive file with all my labs, the syllabus and a letter from the Dean. If it doesn’t count this time around, I highly recommend petitioning your classes. I worked with [email protected]. She is Transfer Advisor. Best of luck!

I have a service with the usps where they scan copies of letters they are delivering to me today. There is a letter from normandale out for delivery today to me!! Now I just have to wait till 1:30 when my mail comes!

@roseflush did you get into century? Is that your first choice or is Inver?

If anyone was waitlisted at Century, an opening should be popping up as I declined my acceptance because I was accepted to Normandale yesterday. Have to choose the school that's closer to home!

I will also be declining Century for the same reason. Normandale is way closer to me. So spots will be opening up!

Did you get your letter?

my letter is being delived today by 2pm, the usps alerts me to what is being delivered each day and I have a normandale letter coming today. CONGRATS ON GETTING IN!!!
