I just passed my NCLEX-PN and I was just thinking . . . while I am waiting for my license to get here, should I be purchasing some kind of malpractice/liability insurance as a new nurse? If so, then who is the best company to go with? Roughly how much does it cost? What should my coverage (if I need it) cover? Etc??? I don't know the first thing about this, can anyone fill me in? Thanks.

Here's a link to a thread that should be helpful

Thanks! I got a quote for $45 annually! Not bad for a little added security being a new nurse. I do however have to wait a few more days until I have my license number to start the policy.
