Hey all,
First off i would like to say that i am glad i just found this site. Amongst the useless surfing and myspacing I came across this great nurse forum and couldn't resist.
I was just wondering how many male nurses we have on here. It would be interesting to hear some of your experiences and stories regarding being a male in what was, and still is a predominantly female position.
Thanks

hi jeffrey, and welcome aboard!
you will probably receive a more abundant response if you post your question under the male nursing forum.
it is geared towards males in the nsg profession, and any challenges experienced, just by virtue of being male.
best of everything, and happy surfing.

I love male nurses and work with several. I'm really glad that men are getting into nursing, it balances out all that female energy. Men in my facility gravitate toward ICU or ER, and they like to talk about hunting alot, I've noticed.

Hey Jeffrey, if you can, check out the journal "Men in Nursing" published by Lippincott, Williams, and Wilkins. It's been out just a year now and is the first nursing journal for men!
