Making career moves...

Anyone else get really nervous about making a career moves? Be it internal transfers, or asking for references (for even a casual position?) I am trying to be very cautious as I do not want to burn bridges.

But, it should be easier then this...people do it all the time...I am done ranting:)

Done sweating the small stuff. Success!

As long as you remain professional and courteous, employers shouldn't fault you for wanting to move on.

I'm in the same boat, and I'm giving them more than the required notice. We all need to move on at some point. Especially considering the current job market....it's every man for himself. Employers have no problem reducing the workforce either. Goes both ways.

Good for you. That is great.
