LSU Spring 2016!

Anyone applying to LSU's Spring 2016 BSN program?

Does anyone know the Percent needed for the HESI?

It isn't a direct percent that they require so its good to try to score as best as you can on it. I heard from previous applicants that a 75% or higher is considered good.

i think as long as you submit your application before Aug 15th the verification documents can still be processed after the deadline. thats what the NCAS website said, but i'm going to call LSU and double check tomorrow because i was in summer school this summer and there was no way my final transcript could be sent 4 weeks prior. This is my second time applying so if anyone have questions i'll be more than happy to answer. Good Luck everyone!

Hey, did you ever get an answer on the verification time question?

I contacted LSUHSC && their admissions said that I could physically bring the transcripts incase the verification isn't approved by the 15th.

Both of my application fees are paid and I just received an email saying that my application

and official transcripts were received from NursingCAS.

It also says my application is processing while NursingCAS completes their verification process.

Did anyone else receive this email?

I'm in the same boat... What the heck? I faxed the transcript request to nursingcas in June, and received an email saying my full application was received, and my check was cashed...but just got that email?

I received that email on yesterday as well.

so I am extremely worried my application will be ineligible. Mrs. Gravolet sent out an email saying we only have until August 21st for the transcripts to be uploaded. I had to get my transcripts sent through fed ex overnight because I was panicking. Can we really turn in official transcripts to them if the verification doesn't go through? I submitted my application on the 11th. I wish I wouldn't have waited last minute.

unfortunately we can't turn in official transcripts to them. i was so mad i drove out there for nothng because one of the administrators said i could turn them in. im glad i had sent mine to NursingCas anyway, even though they had told me that. i hope everything work out for you.

So now that the applications are "closed" on nursingcas I can't see if my transcript was received or not... I'm really nervous. I had to resend it on Aug 11th because when I sent it in June they never got it. ***

I'm in the same boat with my transcript. I called nursingcas on Thursday because they received it but said it will take up to 4 weeks to verify it. Then I called LSU and asked if I was be eligible still even though it was received but not yet verified, and they said no. It's needs to be uploaded and verified by the 21st or you're eneligible. I'm scared mine won't be verified in time but am hoping it will.

I dont think it has to be verified by the 21st because thats what the email said. I talked to Ms. Gravolet to make sure & as long as they are "received/uploaded" by the 21st, NursingCas will continue "verifying" the transcripts. Received/Uploaded is basically the same thing. && the verification is seperate.

If NursingCAS has not received and uploaded the applicant's official transcript(s) by August 21, 2015, the applicant will be deemed ineligible for spring 2016 application process. As long as the official transcript(s) are uploaded by the August 21st deadline, LSU School of Nursing will continue processing the application. "NursingCAS will continue their verification process of the official trasncript(s)." Check your transcript status through your NursingCAS account.
