@pearley What kind of letter did u send to accept your alternate status?

@cfiest01 I sent an email confirming my spot in the alternate list..I did not receive a letter on the mail I emailed the student affairs office they emailed me back my letter it was dated for the 12th.. Hopefully I get called soon though I'm staying optimistic..

I wasn't sure if it had to be a mailed letter back because it said "in writing"... im mailing them a letter tomorrow with my signature on it

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum. I received my acceptance letter on Dec 12th and it was dated Dec 10th. Is anyone commuting from Baton Rouge to New Orleans??? I would really love to carpool to save some money and get some study time on the car rides when I'm not driving. Please let me know if your interested or know someone.

Yes, I certainly am interested. I saw your post earlier, but didn't know if you declined your offer because of the commute. I tried to see if there was a bus or something going from Baton Rouge to Nola and back. There was, but it leaves for 4:30 a.m. and I would still have to catch another bus once I arrived in New Orleans. For all of that, I might as well drive. With that being said, carpooling would work great! We would have to see what our class schedules look like.

@cfiest01 ...I just emailed Ms. Karen Johnson and told her that I would like to confirm acceptance of alternate status. She emailed me back pretty quickly and said that was sufficient.

ok so I got my alt lost letter.....keeping my fingers crossed!!

My waitlist letter was dated on the 12th, and i JUST got it today in the mail. that is absolutely ridiculous. I bet if i wouldnt have even contacted them through email they would have never sent it out. They are soo unorganized and unprofessional!
