So my teacher emailed me again today. He informed me that I was in danger of failing my anatomy class. AGAIN. A little background on my situation, this is my second time taking anatomy. I dropped before last semester because with commuting and taking three nursing classes, it became too much. Now that I'm no longer commuting and only taking the anatomy course and the physiology course (which is a repeat course as well), I feel disappointed and ashamed in myself that I'm failing. AGAIN. On top of everything else in life deciding to crap on my right now, the fact that the number one reason for breathing right now, getting a nursing degree, is running further and further away from me. I'm starting to think nursing school was a mistake if I can't get out of the first block. I guess, mainly I'm just asking for your opinion. Is nursing school something I should give up on if I've retaken and failed a class twice (well, essentially once since I dropped it the first time before I could get an F)? I really don't want to keep wasting money I don't have on classes if I have no hope of passing :/

I got in. My letter was sent on the 10th and I got it today (the 12th) and I live in BR. However I am on the fence. There is no way that I can afford to live in New Orleans right now and I am locked in a lease until August 2013. Anyone ever done a long commute to the school? I mapquested it and I live 1 1/2 away which would mean a 3 hour drive each day. :/ I may have to decline because if I can't commute and I can't afford to live there right now I have no other options.

So I am in my senior year at LSU. I recently decided to make the commitment to nursing. I originally applied to the LSU BSN program in New Orleans with the chance of being accepted. However as time goes by, I worry that my chances aren't that good. My Hesi exam was 80.5%. However my prereq gpa is only at a 3.0. I had gotten a C in Bio, a C in micro, and a C in microlab. I've been looking at other school as well to see where I can apply as well, but a lot of schools require more courses which would lead to another year of fulfilling prerequisites and I'm still not a competitive applicant...some schools require a 3.5 prereq gpa. I have a measly 2.56 cumulative gpa in a science major. What can I do? What are my options?
