LSU BSN program Spring 2013

Is anyone applying to the LSU Traditional BSN program for Spring 2013? I haven't applied yet but plan on doing so. I'm really nervous, I have gone to a couple different schools so I think that my cumulative GPA is around 3.13 but my nursing pre-requisite GPA is 3.75. I'm afraid that my cumulative isn't good enough to be accepted. I'm applying to Charity as well, but my first choice is LSU.

Wait are we supposed to have a transcript request sheet with each transcript??? because i dont I just have the sealed transcripts from each school i attended...

@pearlypearly You just need the sealed transcripts. I don't know of any school that would stick anything else in the envelope except the transcript itself. The request form is just a tool LSU provides to get everything together for a complete application

@kp2012

Oh ok I thought soo..thanks

As a recent LSU SON graduate, my advice is to just breathe! You guys will be fine and I'm sure your personal statements will be great. As far as the interview dates, you probably won't find out for a while. There's 2 interview days. Both on a Saturday. As far as I know, it isn't done alphabetically. There were last names ranging from A to Z on both days. And when we had to interview the hopefuls, we didn't find out til maybe a few weeks before. You guys should be fine though. Everything will work out great. Good luck!

I was wondering, I sent in my Nursing application. However, I was wondering if we were supposed to send in our housing application as well at this time??? Does anyone know?

I'm so confused on my application. When we get to the part of schools we went to there is not enough room to type. Does it look bad if hand write some in? Right now I have:

Name of College/University City & State Dates Attended Major Area of Study Degree Earned

1. Delgado Community College, New Orleans, LA 1/11-12/12 Pre-nursing

Does it look bad if I write it like that? I can't seem to space it out anymore. I think I might have to handwrite N/A for degree received because I just can't seem to fit it! OMG, this is stressing me out. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it!!!!!!

It's alright to hand write that in. Also, that doesn't look bad. It looks neat and concise. In fact I wrote mine in like that for that section. I didn't type mine at all....all hand written. Good job!

Have you sent in your housing application???

@KristenNola, how you have it typed out above is exactly how I have it on my application which I turned in last week. I think it's fine.

Thank you! I feel better now!

@funnywintergal, no I'm not turning in a housing application. I live in New Orleans, but also I didn't see anything about a housing application on the application information page?

@funnywintergal I live in New Orleans as well, but I don't think you need to worry about a housing application until the acceptance letters go out. Perhaps that's something they'll include in packet?

I'm afraid these 2+ months of waiting are going to be torturous for me!

I know what you mean. Lol. I'm already freaking. I keep thinking I didn't sign the application form....even though I'm 99.8% sure I did.
