What was the essay portion of the application like?

Hello! I am applying for FALL 2019 and currently on essay portion of the application.

The essay portion was great. It was "If you could be any superhero who would you be and what would be your super powers?". It was a far cry from previous years. They are truly trying to see if you can form sentences and also think on the fly. There are plenty of people who didnt even get a full page in, and still got it. Its all about the holistic approach in finding the right nursing student. Saw a lot of you out there today walking around on your tours. Hope you had an enjoyable time.

Anyone receive their letters yet?

Not yet! I know they said they had there meeting yesterday though.

The applicants in the CARE program began receiving theirs today. I wonder if traditional happens at the same time or later. Im a nervous wreck!

How are you all handling it?

I’m feeling so anxious..?? just trying to have patience. GO in with positive mindset!

I am also anxious, but at the same time, right now all I can do is wait and see. Just focusing on school and other things to keep me distracted. Wishing the best for everybody! ??

Okay guys. Just did some "research" and found that for last LSU Nursing Fall 2018 people were starting to post that they got their acceptance email on April 10. Don't know if it will be the same ?‍♀️ But seems like we will find out sooner than I thought at least

The applicants over on the CARE thread are receiving theirs today. Do the past threads mention anything about traditional being notified significantly later than CARE?
