  1. Hi. I was wondering if you have any advice on which books are necessary to buy for the SOPH I and which books are not?
  2. LSU Nursing Class of 2022? BSN LSU Nursing Class of 2022?
  3. I agree! There is so much to do! So who knows how to make a Facebook group?
  4. @Jaz Mine Green @J_NurseyPants We should definitely start a class Facebook group! I don't have a Facebook account so I need to make one. But I won't know how to create a group lol.
  5. Hi! My HESI score was a 90. I used the HESI Study Guide by Mometrix and did some test questions online. I definitely agree with @J_NurseyPants. I finished the test with at least one hour left so you should definitely take your time on the reading section. The passages are not super long, completely different from the ACT. Also, when it comes to retaking the HESI, just remember that they need to be 6 weeks apart from each other, you can only take the HESI twice during the application period, and they do NOT take the highest score. If you retake it, just make sure that you look at the areas where there needs some work. I know that on the HESI website, they show you what areas to work on. Oh and know your conversions and ratios! As for my GPA, it was a 4.0. However, also keep in mind that your application does not completely rely on your HESI score and GPA. The interview and writing portion is important too! And for the interview portion you have unlimited time to think about a question and have three tries to answer a question since it is online. And with those three tries, you choose when to start recording the tries. @britt_futureRN I know someone that had a similar issue. She did a section that was not necessary for LSU. She emailed the director to let him know and he told her that would just we calculate the HESI score with the sections they need. Don't be afraid to email them! I wish y'all the best!
  6. YAAAAAY! ? CONGRATS! We all got accepted! Can't wait to meet all of y'all too!
  7. OMMMGGGG! I am screaming! I got accepted!
  8. Thank you! Good luck to you too! ?
  9. They never mentioned whether or not traditional was notified significantly later than CARE. But I just looked at the LSU Fall CARE 2018 and people were posting about the acceptance letters on April 10th too. Hopefully, we find out soon. Fingers crossed ?
  10. Okay guys. Just did some "research" and found that for last LSU Nursing Fall 2018 people were starting to post that they got their acceptance email on April 10. Don't know if it will be the same ?‍♀️ But seems like we will find out sooner than I thought at least
  11. I am also anxious, but at the same time, right now all I can do is wait and see. Just focusing on school and other things to keep me distracted. Wishing the best for everybody! ??
  12. I am applying for the Fall 2019!
  13. What was the essay portion of the application like?
