If you are a self-motivated student who is capable of independent learning, Excelsior might be the right program for you. However, if you need the structure of physical classroom attendance on a regular basis, a classroom-based bridge program might fit your needs more optimally. Good luck to you.
Can you clarify the meaning of BSN core?
I went from LPN to BSN, and in my experience, I was more comfortable with the material, asking for help, as well as keeping an open mind by evolving how I learn and take tests, meaning, I am a kinesthetic learner, as well as an auditory learner, so I started recording lectures when possible. I also utilized reputable resources outside of the text book, especially "recommended reading" sources that I still use today as a nurse, as well as review books.
I also made sure I was in the mindset of being a BSN student at school and a LPN at work; and made it work.
Where are you located?
The schools in my area are Holy Family University and La Salle University that come to mind (graduate of La Salle's program) , as well as Drexel University; I think Villanova and Jefferson have one as well, but I am not sure.
I am sure there are many other programs even outside if my area, but I am not familiar with those.
