Hi guys I just entered LPN school and I'm doing really well. I'm in my first trimester. I am having a good time learning all new information and pushing myself to strive for nothing but excellence, however I do want to know how was it for each of you all out there when you started? Thanks for the info. in advance.

I just got accepted into an LPN program and am actually a little worried. Ive never been one to struggle with schooling, and my mother is a nurse, but I'm just so worried I'll mess up, or get unorganized. Especially since I have a boyfriend of 14 months and don't want to get distracted by that. Any advice? Tips?
Thank you!!!!

Don't get behind!! Don't wait until the last minute to study for tests. Don't just memorize information try to understand why what is happening is happening. If there are NCLEX style questions at the end of the chapters, review them. If you don't understand something get it clarified asap. Be prepared for lecture and clinicals. Don't get too involved in the petty crap that some of your classmates relish dishing out. Lastly, enjoy the experience as the year will go by quickly, mine has. 7 weeks to go until graduation :rotfl:
