I attended LVN school in southern California, more specifically the Los Angeles area. Clinical site rotations were usually Monday through Wednesday for 8 hours per day. Classroom time was Thursday and Friday for 5 to 6 hours per day.

Have you looked at any potential college's curriculum? The schools really seem to vary. I'm in my first year of nursing school in the day time program and we have a set schedule of class 2 days a week, generally from 8-4 depending on what classes you have to take or already have out of the way, it can vary by term how-ever. This term I'm in class from 10 am-1' o'clock, (I have all co-reqs completed) but next term my schedule will be from 10-3 and clinical's are always 2 days a week from 6:30-2:30.
Our program length is 12 months.
