LPN to RN programs

Hi all. I graduated 2 years ago from GLTS LPN program. I am looking to get my RN now and starting to look at programs but it getting very overwhelming. I am looking at Quincy College, Middlesex, Massasoit, St. Joseph's and NSCC. Anyone have any insite to these programs?

The best schedule for me would be the weekend program at Quincy College, however it looks like they are accredited "with warning" from the BON. What happens if they lose accredidation while I am enrolled there? Would I not be able to take the NCLEX? I left a message for the BON but I do not know when I will hear back. I spoke to someone at Quincy and they said if they lose accredidation then it would not effect current students. They said current students would be able to graduate and take the NCLEX.

Thank you!

I just graduated from Massasoit. (RN program) The LPN-RN went the same nights as us. They have good nights (Mon, Thurs and either a Tue or Wed for lab)

Also a TON cheaper than Q.

Just so you know the warning from the BON is because their NCLEX pass rates have gone down 3 years in a row. This is because the NCLEX has been changed and it is taking Quincy College, as well as schools like MassBay, a little while to catch up. They are not at risk of losing accreditation. Trust me I am adjunct faculty there.

thank you, for Massasoit, how was the program and clinical experiences? How late do the evening classes go until?

I enjoyed it. The clinical experiences were different for all classes but for the most part interesting.

Night lectures ended at 7 until you get to last semester and it went until 8.
