:w00t:i officially finish my lpn program in 2weeks! hurray!----problem- i intend to go straight back into school for my rn. i strongly had the intention and the idea that if i complete a lpn program, then less time is needed to accomplish an rn degree. correct?! anyway, i have been looking at sinclair community to do their lpn to rn transition program and wanted to know how long it took to complete. so for those whom have graduated from that program plz help me! i have not done pre-requ's .
also, if anyone has been to or knows a quicker school to go to i would love to know. online courses are prefered or as much as possible.

miami university middletown has a bridge program. I'm pretty sure most of it is online. I couldn't find anything on the website about it but you might be able to call the nursing department and ask. Here is the number for the Middletown campus 205(513-727-3266). I don't know if Hamilton has one but I bet they do there number is (513-785-7772).
I just looked at my nursing information and it says to "call the nursing department to find out how to complete your ADN program in three semesters".
Hope this helps, good luck!

What school are you doing your LPN at? I know RETS has a LPN - RN bridge program. It's 12 months long ( I think) and the cost of it is about $25K. Sinclair is such a good school the only thing is they have to wait until they have the minimum amount of students (I'm pretty sure it's 10) to start the program. I think Sinclair's program starts about twice a year. I have a girlfriend in it now, she just started at the beginning of January.

I started the LPN-RN transition at Sinclair in January. It took me 4 semesters to get in but I had pre-reqs to finish up which I did part time while working. I would recommend that anyone do it as once you get past the first half of the first quarter, it's a bit tough.
They are now doing the transition class 3 times per year and don't have a problem filling it. Actually, we didn't even have 10 in our class this quarter. Sinclair has a great program and and the cost is very reasonable, especially if you live in Montgomery County. It's well worth the wait.
