How much harder is RN school vs LPN/LVN? DO you think your education as an LPN helped with RN school? What about the NCLEX how much harder do you think the LPN Nclex was vs the RN Nclex.
I am waiting to hear back from a local school to see if I was accepted into the lpn-Rn program. The wait is driving me nuts and I am starting to wonder if I should start to read my LPN text books to maybe get me a leg up if I am accepted into the RN program.
Anything to pass the time.

I think my LPN experience has helped me tremendously in RN school. Neither one is more harder than the other IMO. RN goes more in depth but not necessarily harder. So far as boards, I'm hoping I can answer that questions in about 4 months....
Much luck to you !

rn school is not necessary harder but you go into more details and it just adds extra knowledge to your lpn. the nclex-rn was easier for me compared to nclex-pn because i already knew what to expect. the format is the same except the content. i finished earlier as well in my nclex-rn as the minimum questions is 75 compared to 85 qs for the nclex-pn.
