Hi,

I was enrolled about a yr ago with Excelsior and had found it hard to make the time to study. At that time, I had alot going on in my life, with hubby in hospital etc...Now................I am ready for it!!! I have my work schedule pretty much to the point where I can have time to devote to studying and most of all, I want it! So, here I go again, lol.

How did you find the exams? Were the study guides enough? I did purchase several books last yr, so I can probably use them too. Any suggestions? I appreciate any input. This time, I am going to follow through and do it. I will check out the section on distant learning and see what information and/or support I can find.

Bye for now and good luck on your future tests.

I took all my basics through them and have done real well, although it has been alot slower than I anticipated. The only problem I have had really was with NC2. I failed it. I went through Chancellors learning systems and I do not feel the information provided for this test was sufficient to pass the test.

I am trying to rely on my text book through Exc. college and the study guide this time and I feel the information is sinking in better. The study guides will probably be good enough, looking back now, I probably could have saved a lot of money that way. I think an important key to this is to set goals for yourself. Set aside so much time every day, or several days a week to study and don't let anything interfere with that time. It is so easy to put it off.

Good luck to you, sounds like your mind is made! Your going to do great! :balloons:

My hat's off to you guys. I was just not motivated enough to do it on my own. I am now 4 semesters away from my BSN. Good job.

If I were you I would skip college network and go through Excelsior. It will save you alot of grief and heartache :crying2:

Well I like what I'm doing because ultimately I'm going to go to CRNA school and with the school I'm going to I will have my choice of schools. But thanks for the advice.
