My test (NET test) consisted of mostly converting percentage, fractions, decimals and some algebra and word problems. The reading consisted of a science related passage where you had to answer questions on the passage and draw conclusions. There was also a stress test and a section that calculated how fast of a reader you are. Good luck to you.

hi i took the NET test as well and it was pretty basic, high school level.
good luck, what school are you applying to.
Thanks for all you replies. Took the test today and it was actually HARD a lot harder than I expected. It didnt seem to be like the NET test that was described. So if it is meant to be, it will be.
I am leaning toward the LPN route, if I do pass this test this is the way I will go. I am applying to a local community college here. They are affiliated with allied health.
The hospitals here arent hiring LPNs anymore either, except in OB, which would be fine with me! I used to teach childbirth classes and do labor support so that will be right up my alley. I do like the hospital I am currently working for, however having an LPN gives me a wider range of options than just having my cna.
That is all way down the road however...I have to pass this test first! Thanks again for all the replies!
Good morning
sobonks,, dont give up..
i actually failed my NET test twice and decided to try another school to apply at, which i did and pass the test on the first shot.
LPN's are in high demand in Northern and Southern New Jersey and the starting paid is GREAT too.
i thought about going to a local community college but that was longer and harder, so i decide to keep re-taking the test until i passed.
i guess it depends on where you live if the demand is high or not.
N E ways good luck and follow your heart..
