Hello,
I am currently a senior at University of Delaware and will be graduating with a BS. I am really interested in nursing, BUT my accumulative GPA is 2.7. I looked into accelerated nursing programs and quickly found out while researching that my chances of getting accepted into one is very low. Right now I am trying to decide if I should enroll in my local community college for an ADN or LPN degree/diploma. I just would like to stay in the DE/PA area.
-I have found schools that have a LPN to BSN program! Which is great because the LPN component will take 1 year since I have all of the science classes already completed with my UD degree. (Desales U, Neumann U, Laselle, York, Wilmington University)
-The ADN program will take about 2 years and maybe an extra semester to complete. I also know that there are ADN/ASN to BSN programs as well.
But my ultimate goal is to earn my BSN degree but I don't want to spend another four+ years trying to get it. If i have to then I WILL!!
I just need some advice and help I do not know what to do.

Some programs have a secondary Bachelors program for people with bachelors to apply to BSN programs. However LPN programs are about a year and then you could look into LPN-BSN programs

There are a couple of LPN-to-BSN completion programs at schools in the area where I reside. However, these schools also have minimum GPA requirements that must be met in order to be admitted.

If you retake a few classes you can get your gpa up then apply to a program. That would be the fastest route and cheapest
