LPN as an alternative?

Published

Hey you guys. I wanted to apply and still am applying for the ADN-RN program at charity school of nursing, but I would have to get a 85-89 for a composite of 65 and a 90+ for a composite of 70.

I am currently a exercise physiologist major at UNO, and the jobs and pay isn't very well. I am hoping LPN has jobs that pay at least 37k+. How much do LPNs make? And how are the job availAbility?

thanks

Nursing homes $17-$20/hour

some hospitals are $14-$17/hour

my friend has been a lpn for a few years.

Kick the crap out of the HESI it's not hard to do. Also, can you repeat any of the pre reqs to boost your gpa? Or finish out an AA or your current bachelors - you get bonus points for that.

Take the HESI and apply. Often students profile scores are higher than they think.

You could also transfer to LSUHSC or HCC (but it's expensive)
