i do not know if my reply would actually count. but any updates about pinoycare? i saw the previous comment directing me to the thread i have been reading a few hours earlier before joining the site. i really got intrigued because what you hear is not what you get. the thread was closed and i cannot contact those who have posted on the thread but it seems they were all inactive users. it is true that you can do things by yourself regarding the papers for migration process. you can download it in the cic website. as for my own experience, i actually had problems on where to start. i have read everything in the forums and websites about migration, but still we all need a guide aside from the man above. so whenever i see on newspaper ads about free orientation on migration to canada, i immediately call the office and ask for directions so i can attend to one. pinoy care was introduced by an ielts review center. i had been oriented about the process itself. it is not in the POEA or OWWA website because it is not a recruitment agency. the company seems to be just a guide for your visa process. the final decision about your visa itself will depend on the embassy. i have asked some people from the company about the candian immigration consultant license, and all they can say is that they have agents which have licenses but not immigration lawyers. you can look up the difference between the two. so meaning, you cannot look it up in the website of cicc (certified immigration consultants of canada) or in the csic (canadian society of immigration). the person whom i talked to told me that they do not actually have consultants in their company because it will just add up in the professional fee.
i am having second thoughts too. they maybe registered in dept. of trade or in the security and exchange commissions. but still it is hard to risk something especially where there is money and heart involved.
i hope someone will update on us about this company and will update more in the future.
looking forward to replies for enlightenment. :)

Moved to a thread on it's own in the International forum
Steps to Canada
1. choose province you wish to live and work in
2. Apply to provincial college of rn and meet requirements and obtain eligibility to sit CRNE
3. Decide on route for Canada on the CIC route, TWP or PR
4. complete paperwork as set out on the CIC website following guide
5. If PR then check when the list reopens as currently closed for RN's unless you have a job offer. If TWP you need to find employer first and obtain a LMO
6. Send paperwork as directed to Sydney Nova Scotia.
7. Wait for embassy to contact you re medicals
Going via a agency will make no difference to the process and in most cases you will be expected to complete paperwork
I appreciate the help but I have seen all your posts about this and like this too. As I have said some people have actually seen, heard and knew all the things to do but they cannot start things on their own. i actually do not know if you have the same feelings like i do but in some way i hope you fully understand that some people will still guidance of agencies that is why some topics likes this are opened. so may be let us just stick to the Q if there is a difference now on the part if pinoycare really does delay and your money will be of waste or not.

Yes your money will be wasted. You are spending hard earned money to have them to something for you that you can do yourself. They cannot make things go any faster or give a better outcome than doing it yourself. Why would you waste your money?
Thank you for the concerns but i think some people actually do not get the point why some people do ask these kind of companies. Anyhow it was nice joining this site and thread but for some reasons some people actually were not symphatetic to others. :)
I don't know why you feel you have to spend money paying an agency when the forms are easy to complete and the Canadian government on the CIC website post clear instructions. Going through an agency makes no difference in processing times.
I would advise you to save your money as you will require money both as proof of funds and setting up once arrived in Canada and need money as deposit for things like utilities, etc as you will have no credit history.
Having done the paperwork myself I do know how easy it is. Nothing stopping you from asking questions in this thread for people to respond

I couldn't agree more with silverdragon. I bet that agency will either charge you more than what you are supposed to pay for the application alone or charge you with service fee as much or more than the application fee. Either way, you will also have to wait 'til that agency assist you, giving you more head ache than processing it by your self. By the end of the day however it is still your choice. It's your money afterall.
