Loewenberg Fall 2015

Hey all! I was hoping to start a thread for those of us who have applied to the Loewenberg School of Nursing for the fall 2015 semester. I am a 26 year old mother to an awesome little dude. I have a degree from U of M in professional studies, but nursing school has always been my dream. My GPA isn't super great. It's a 3.15. I slacked off freshman year. I'm still hoping I'm competitive enough to get in! We shall see!

    Hi! I actually created a board this morning because I couldn't find a thread of future LSON students (Fall 2105)! I actually submitted my application on 1/6/2015. Have you submitted your application? Which program are you planning to apply for? Accelerated or Traditional?

    I actually think you have a good GPA! If I remember correctly a 2.6 is the requirement? Have you gotten a chance to take the TEAS yet?

    Hi! I applied on 1/8/15 for the nursing program as well. I'm just anxiously waiting to see if I've been accepted or not. I think since I did the early admission application I should be notified before the Feb deadline. Not too sure though.

    Thank you! I applied for the traditional program. I don't know if I could handle the accelerated! I took the TEAS the beginning of January and passed! Hooray! How about you?

    Hey Everyone, I applied early January for LSON a well and online it just says under review. I haven't taken my teas test yet, taking it next weekend. Did you guys think it was very difficult? I'm so nervous about it..

    Hey! I actually found the science section to be quite difficult, but I hadn't had those types of things since high school (almost 10 years ago...yikes!). Everything else was a breeze. Make sure you utilize the study manual as much as possible. I found it very helpful! Good luck! Let us know how you do!!
