LIU Accelerated

Oy, yea, at this point I guess I'm expecting to get waitlisted...or rejected...though it's so hard to tell with these guys!! Thanks for the reassurance about my stats...though I also moved around schools a bit, so maybe they don't like that? Who knows!

I thought LIU was around 60k too, but 34 is fine by me

I was actually just at LIU today to register for my HESI exam (saturday...aaahhh I feel like I've forgotten everything I ever learned!), and the campus gave me a good feeling :) But now of course I'm worried I'm gonna totally blow the exam and not get in anywhere, hah : / Keep me posted and I'll do the same. Sending good vibes your way!

You're totally getting in with your grades! I don't think the moving matters at all! And I'm sure your personal statement was awesome :)

Aw thanks, and thanks so much for the study guide! I'm feeling much better about the test! Are you attending the orientation at LIU on the 22nd? We're also supposed to register that day, so I REALLY WISH OTHER SCHOOLS WOULD GET BACK TO US

Hey! So I checked the status of my Pace application and it changed to "decision made" aaaah. I just wanna know! It says to be patient and a letter will arrive shortly....I haven't gotten an e-mail or anything, so I'm feeling a little pessimistic about it. Any news on your end?

I am in the same boat as you and Zmymy! I applied and got accepted into LIU's accelerated program and took the HESI on Friday and got a 94 in each portion of the exam. How did you guys register for the orientation day at LIU? Do you guys plan on making a deposit without having heard back from Pace yet? I'm really nervous - I checked my application on Pace's website and it just says "Submitted" for me -- There's no "decison made" marked and that has me really worried!!

I liked Pace as well and my interview was back in February. It's my first choice and I'm squirming around waiting for an answer... Very anxious!

First congrats! And awesomeeee!! 94 is a great score! :) I called according to the email that was sent to us. It was a simple phone call they just asked for your name. If I don't hear back from Pace before April 29th, I'm going to gamble to send my deposit via online.

That's strange! In February? I feel like it should at least say, "In Review" like mine has. I would call them and check for the status!

Thanks! I used the HESI practice book they recommended on LIU's website as well lol. I feel like LIU is more disorganized than Pace unfortunately but I am still strongly considering going, especially if I don't get accepted into Pace.

I had an interview on February 21 (or 24th) - somewhere around that time. They told us that there would be another interview date on march 24th and that only 64 students would be accepted into the program. My status has always said "submitted" - never in review or anything like that, which is making me really nervous now. I am going to call them first thing in the morning!
