Lbcc spring 2020

I was surprised to see no one has started a thread for this semester. This was my first time applying for nursing school—anyone else?

Time is a dangerous thing for the mind lol. Nada yet.

Is today the day???? ????????

I hope so, the waiting is killing me.....

Hey everyone, new to this, first time applying at LBCC, anyway I emailed someone in Nursing and they said they put in a call to the department and hopefully she gets an answer back. And she’ll keep me updated. So.... waiting game continues!

Has anyone been able to get in contact with Marc or Sigrid ?

Hey everyone, got this back

“I received a call back from the coordinator in nursing, and I was informed decisions will be going out some time this week. Keep checking your emails. Good luck! ?

Sometime this week seems too long ?

That’s what they said last week ???, but when this week??? lol

Me moving out of state really depends on this decision and the long wait is definitely not helping ?

I think this is the longest I've had to wait for a response from the program yet, usually they're pretty good about sending out responses by the 6 week mark. Did they just have way more applicants this time?

Something I was told when I called (not sure if this is relevant to the long waiting time) was that they might take less people than usual because one of the hospitals they have their clinical rotations in was not available to students this time around (if I remember their words correctly.) Again, not sure if this is an explanation as to why they are taking longer than usual.
