Hi everyone!

Has anyone here applied to the nursing program using the link they posted on their website?

Awesome. Thank you for the update

I am looking into applying at LBCC. What were your GPAs?

Best option is 4.0

Has anyone emailed the coordinator for any updates?

I emailed today but didn't hear anything back. Well, either tomorrow or Friday then I hope.

My friend sent an email this Monday and they told her that notifications will be sent out this month... but didn't specify when LOL

Confirmed: "Notifications will be sent out later this month"

Ugh, you guys! Does anyone else live outside the Long Beach area and would be moving if they are accepted? *raises hand* To have a mere 2 months with which to prepare is just bonkers! I actually got into a program here in San Diego that was set to start Fall 2020 but since it got pushed back to Spring 2021 I was given one more chance to apply to OC/LA schools (my partner lives there and I've been trying to get into a program there so I can live with him during school). Seeing the weeks before the Spring start date quickly diminish with NO responses from any of the 3 schools I applied to is sheer madness. Sorry to vent! I'm thinking I may have some people here who get me though! Anyone else in a similar boat where huge life moves are on hold as you await these results? My heart goes out to all of you regardless!

I feel this heavily... the decision of being accepted or not determines if I'll move out of my current apartment or not... and while I was anticipating to hear a decision by November, I'm stressing out now because my current lease is over on the 17th... and I've already asked my landlord for 2 extensions because I was hoping we'd hear back in October!!
