Lasik vision correction

Have any of you had laser/lasik (I think they are they same) eye correction surgery?

*Would you recommend it to some one else?

*Did you get 20/20 vision? (they say that not all people get 20/20) and if so, how bad was your vision before?

*What did you pay and where did you get it done?

(I am posting in California Nursing because that is where I live and maybe some of the places people mention they got theirs done is in California or Oregon.)

I had Lasik done on both eyes 3 years ago....and I am still 20/20. My eyes were pretty nearsited, could not see 2 ft in front of me clearly. So Yes, I am very, very happy. I walked out of the room seeing 20/20, it makes you cry, it was amazing. I would highly recommend it, it changed my quality of life.

I went to Dr. Furlong, in San Jose, CA, He is highly regarded and has a wonderful bedside manner. Go For it! Oh and I believe it cost about $3,500 total.
