What's the difference between the waitlist and alternate list?

Sorry, I was actually placed as a alternate last time. I think it means the same.

I am not sure as to how many get called but people are called from the list. I have a friend who applied for Spring 2017, she was wait listed or placed as an "alternate" (same thing) and she was called from the list two weeks before classes started. I on the other hand have been wait listed and never received a call. It honestly just depends.

Early acceptance letters went out in mid-October, another friend of mine received hers already. Once the early acceptance applicants write back accepting or declining their offer by the deadline given to them, Lamar will then start calling people from the wait list.

I asked if anyone gets denied, because I hear everyone gets on alternative list. Apparently everyone goes on alternative list?

Has everyone heard back?

I'm not too sure. I haven't heard back about anyone getting denied. I also asked how many people get put onto the alt list, but they didn't want to tell me.

Has anyone had a chance to sign up for the CPR class that we were emailed about? I chose a date, but it just appears as a 'vote' for that particular date. Is that all that is required, or am I missing something? I never received an email confirmation or a receipt to pay.

Hello all if anyone is willing to be roommates at the Preserve Apartment Complex on Old Dowlen or something similar please let me know at [email protected] It may seem pricey but when split on a two bedroom would be very affordable in these beautiful apartments. And only 10 mins away from the school. Congrats on those who were accepted I look forward to meeting you! and for those on the alternative list I wish you the best and never give up on your dreams.

Hey, They do send out early acceptance letters which usually happen in October then everyone else gets their letters in November. I was waitlisted last year and received my letter mid November. Good Luck to Everyone btw!
