I just received an email from San Jac Central at 3:50pm being denied. Still nothing from North campus. Good Luck to everyone else waiting on their acceptance!!

I am not sure as to how many get called but people are called from the list. I have a friend who applied for Spring 2017, she was wait listed or placed as an "alternate" (same thing) and she was called from the list two weeks before classes started. I on the other hand have been wait listed and never received a call. It honestly just depends. Early acceptance letters went out in mid-October, another friend of mine received hers already. Once the early acceptance applicants write back accepting or declining their offer by the deadline given to them, Lamar will then start calling people from the wait list.

Okay. I was wondering if they send all acceptance emails first, then wait-list/denial emails last. I'm too anxious.

GPA 3.0 HESI 82% No they did not mention why. More than likely it was just a really competitive applicant pool. I currently have a bachelors and perviously took courses at Lamar but I don't think they really factor those things in as much just mainly your HESI & GPA.

You will receive a letter asking if you accept the waitlist offer. They say that you may receive a call off the waitlist all the way up to the day before classes start. You will not know your exact number on the waitlist unfortunately. They call people off the list in the order they are ranked. It just depends on how many of the early acceptance applicants decided not to attend thats when the waitlist applicants are called. Yes I have applied for this upcoming Spring semster.

Hey so has anyone heard anything about acceptance into the program? Also, is anyone getting emails in regards to the nursing program and the white coat ceremony?

Hey, They do send out early acceptance letters which usually happen in October then everyone else gets their letters in November. I was waitlisted last year and received my letter mid November. Good Luck to Everyone btw!
