They will want to know your experience in nursing and working in general. If you have no l and d experience, it's ok. They hire new nurses or nurses from other areas of nursing all the time. Be earnest in your reasons why you seek this job. Be armed with questions of your own, such as staffing ratios, how long orientation is, and who does the orienting, will you be assigned one primary nurse to orient you, or be working with several? Be prepared to tell them your availability, e.g. days, shifts, etc. Be willing to be very flexible. The more so, the better. As you know, OB is a round-the-clock business, so you will be expected to work weekends and off-shifts, most likely.
Be prepared to have something to say of your goals. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10? Just have an idea what you might be doing and what you hope to accomplish. This question often takes people by surprise. Also why should they hire you ? What do you have to bring to the unit that will enhance it? Are you a very hard worker? Passionate about caring for people and their families? Do you speak another language? Are you fluent in computer use? What programs? Tell them what you bring to the table that are assets they will appreciate! EVERYONE has something positive to contribute; you do as well!
GOOD LUCK. Don't worry, and remember, this is YOUR opportunity to interview THEM as well, too, to see if this unit and job will be a good fit for you. Ask questions and for a tour of the unit to get a feel for the place.
Let us know how it goes.

Some questions that might be asked are:
1. Why Labor and Delivery?
2. Where do you see yourself in five years?
3. Why did you become a nurse?
4. Why this facility?
5. Describe a stressful situation and how you handled it.
6. What are your strengths/weaknesses?
And yes, you should definitely come with questions to ask.
Good luck on your interview!
