Hello! This is my first post here ever I am graduating this May from nursing school in Boston and I plan on moving (by myself) to Florida, mainly in Monroe County.
Does anyone have ANY information/advice to offer about Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West? I would really appreciate it.
Thank you! :)

Congratulations! I have to add I am jealous! I love Key West. I live in Fort Myers for a while and would take the Key West Express over for the day. It was my favorite vacation spot!
I look every day for a way to blend both worlds and work in the Northeast in the summer and the Southwest in the winter. Someday!

Hi- I recently moved from Key West after 20+ years there! LKMC is one of the largest employers, and I haven't worked there in some time, but I can say that the majority of the staff there is wonderful! Administration could use an overhaul, but other than that, I would recommend it. There is also Fisherman's Hospital in Marathon, about 50 miles up from KW. At LKMC, I believe the director of HR is named Donald, not sure who the D.O.N. is now. Also highly recommended is Hospice/Visiting Nurses of the Florida Keys-you'll never find a more loving bunch than these folks! Best of luck to you! It is a beautiful place! LKMC-305-294-5531, Hospice-305-294-8812. BTW, Hospice also has an office in the upper keys.
