Keep the Sabbath

I don't if this thread is of interest but I am nosey about what you all do or like to do or what you want to do in your free time? I try to carve out time for swimming, reading books by "Hans Kung", a famous theologian, learning guitar, checking out All Nurses. How about you?

I'm confused. What is "free time"? :bored:

Work on my RN to BSN that my workplace says I have to complete if I have any hope of promotion or transfer between departments.

I will answer in accordance with the title of your post, "Keep the Sabbath". I go to Bible study and worship in the morning, have lunch with my eldest and family, then spend the rest of the day just doing what I want to do, sometimes what I need to do. That includes reading for enjoyment, checking FB, sometimes talking to my child who lives overseas, taking a NAP....provided I haven't had too much iced tea for lunch. (The older I get, the more that caffeine keeps me from napping ). I try to enjoy the day that the Lord gives me, whatever I do, however it looks.

I find I use most of my "free time" just trying to drag my oxen out of ditches.

Most of my "free time" goes to preparing wood for the firebox, hunting and fishing for sustenance, and hauling water for the house. Beyond that I while away long dark winters by playing guitar, reading, and making things with my hands.

I practice my faith everyday.

Haha, you guys crack me up!

Since I finished school, and haven't found my "real job" yet as an NP, I find that I am excellent at Netflix marathons. For the past 7-8 years or so, I have not watched much tv...but I am relearning how!!! I have become the fastest couch potato in the South....after my stent with Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, the Killing, and most currently, Once Upon a Time, I have begun to feel like maybe there is more to life than netflix....
