i believe kaplan considers 60-65% to be "borderline" and over 65% to be passing. didn't you get an analysis of your results? i got 75% on the readiness test and passed the nclex with 75 questions 2 days later.

yes, i got the analyse but couldnt tell if i was borderline or passing (which explains why since 65% is borderline and i scored 66%). what should i do now to prepare with having that done and being so close to borderline??? i only want to take this test one time. it sounds like most everyone is getting 75 questions on the test. that is great!!! help me i am really scared now!!!
i would probably start by reviewing the analysis of your results and seeing if there are particular areas you're not as strong in. i'd also review the kaplan rules. keep in mind that 66% is still passing (for kaplan), so don't give up just yet! try to keep a positive attitude when you take the test; don't get discouraged if the questions are hard! keep in mind that most of us leave the test thinking it was horrible. have you done the question trainer cd? i only did half of the last test (#7), but it may have helped a little (though the questions are really hard!). were you able to see which answers you got wrong on the readiness test? i think it's really messed up that they don't want you to have the questions to take home and review. it's hard to learn from the test if you don't know why you got questions wrong! one of my friends was smart enough to sneak an extra booklet home, so we were able to review the correct answers.
try not to panic! this test makes everyone crazy, but keep in mind that more than 4 out of 5 will pass on the first try!
good luck,

I didnt do well on the last one; i think maybe a 60%. It was so hard!!! I accidentally took home my test booklet for my readiness test. When I got home and was looking through my stuff (trying to study some) I realized I had it, so I have reviewed those that I missed. I actually had major improvements on all my categories except the critical thinking stuff. I only came up slightly in those categories. thanks
