I took this for the first time today, my NCLEX is in about a week. I finished it in about 1:45 (hour:minutes). I scored a 70.
I am wondering if this is acceptable. I have heard others speak of 50's-60's passing. Should I feel good about this score?
Thanks,
Nathan

I think you should feel good about it:yeah:...when you say practice exam do you mean question trainers/the diagnostic test/qbank, rediness test????
Readiness Test
Let me rephrase that, it is the 180 question test in the CD that comes with the book, I believe that people refer to this as the readiness test.
Okay, I thought you were referring to the kaplan course review, my fault.
I still think your score is good, but I personally, would go over your weak points from here on out since your taking the test soon....good luck!

I have been an RN now for 7 months and I did kaplan. To pass; because I took the test twice, do all of the practice test. The first time I did the nclex i had just done practice made up quiz which are good to practice on area's you are not as strong in. I did not do the 6-7 practice test. The second time I did those averaging 65 percent. You should be fine. Good luck and take some deep breaths, it will be over before you know it. :)

Hi NathanDH:
I am doing Kaplan online and had a 3-day live course after graduation, and per Kaplan, 65% and higher CONSISTENTLY guarantees you a passing score!!!! So, I would say that 70% is good, but keep practicing and focus on your weak areas!!!!
Good luck to you:D
70% I would be devastated otherwise.

Anyone else have comments about scores from the Kaplan blue book (not the Q Trainers)? I got a 69 on the 180 question test on the CD, and a 66 on the one in the book. I'm worried that it's not good enough. Not sure what to think because most people here are talking about the Q Trainers when they mention scores. Is this test comparable to that? In the book it says >70% is good understanding, 60-69% you have areas that need further review and improve your CT skills. I got an 85 on the ATI comprehensive which gave me a lot of confidence that I was ready, but now I'm not sure.

I did the 2 practice tests in Kaplan's skinny strategy book. I got about 70% on the one in the book and then got 75% on the one on the CD.
I also did Suzanne's first tip but not her whole program since I didn't have the necessary time. I went through Saunder's Comprehensive and did the test at the end of every chapter and if it was
Before all of my studying ATI Predictor said I had a 99% chance of passing. I took NCLEX-RN on Monday and passed with 75 questions. Good Luck to you!
