Hello,
I am a recent LVN graduate and I have an interview with Kaiser coming up. Does anyone have any tips on the types of questions they will be asking during the interview? Will it be scenario type questions? I'm really looking forward to it but anxious at the same time because Kaiser is my ideal workplace. I am comfortable with behavioral questions.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you

not sure if this will help, but I recently was interviewed for an LPN position and I was asked a scenario question - would would you do if a patient on your hall had neither any intake or output on your shift? wow - i thought - the relm of possiblities - The answer to the question was call the family member and the doctor. In my mind - i thought what the heck - go find the aide and figure out whats going on. But in reality aide or no aide, you as the nurse are responsible for the patients on your hall.
graygirl: Yes, good luck to us!!! =)
gr8fulnrs: Thank you for sharing. Wow, I would have answered the same way too. Contact the doctor and the family AFTER checking with the nursing assistant to make sure that there really was no intake. Sometimes, it just doesn't get documented right away so it's good to do some research first prior to calling the doctor and alarming the family member. But gosh, would I even be able to answer this if it were me in that interview room. I hope so. Sometimes, I feel like i don't know anything at all. I know I'm a new graduate and I've read it's normal but it's not comforting at all! ;( Hopefully, God will be by my side =) Good luck!

How did it go? I am interested in Kaiser as well. As a new grad myself, I was not sure if I should apply for the LVN II jobs they keep posting. How were you able to score an interview as a new grad? Any info would be much appreciated!! P.S. Good Luck:)
