I want to be a NICU nurse (hence, the name) or a labor and delivery nurse. There's a couple of questions that I have a question for both of these career paths. With both the NICU and labor and delivery the jobs that I have been looking at say that you have to have experience in those areas and working in that environment. How do you get experience in those situations when you have to have experience to enter in to them?
I'm not in nursing school right now, but am taking the prereqs soon, so I have another question. For nursing school would you recommend having a cheaper education at a community college and only getting your AAS or go to a more expensive school and get your bachelors in the same amount of time? Does it really help?
Thanks!
