Just Started College

I'm 18!! && want to get some advice!! I'm the youngest girl in my class of nursing students!! Haven't made friends yet!! && it seems like the older ladies don't want anything to do with me but I'm so friendly....

I was also one of the youngest in my nursing class, starting at 18 and being only 20 when I graduated. Don't worry about making friends and try to focus on your studies.

I'm not sure about not making any friends. You need at least one friend in the program that knows what you're going through so you can go to them for support or else you may quit. But don't let them get to you, eventually they will come around. One thing tho is to always work with confidence. If you ever look nervous at all and look young, no patient nor fellow Rn's will trust you. You will do great!! Good luck in your impending career!!

I'm one of the youngest in my pre req classes & I'm 20. I find it hard to relate sometimes, especially because I have no children. Just be cordial to everyone & don't take it personally if they don't seem as friendly as you would like.
