Just random questions

Hello. Hope everybody is doing well.

Can anyone recommended an application/group chat/discussion chat where I can seek advice in regards to general family medicine Clinic questions. I have UpToDate and Epocrates. I am a new solo Provider and sometimes I just have question scenarios I would like to bounce off others just to help or guide me. Sometimes a little bit does a a lot. I am in the state of Texas by the way.

Thank you

But not for immediate help. Just for learning purposes. And not an academic source.

If you are anew NP working alone then you need to have established and experienced NP/MD/DO/PA mentors that are readily available for curbsides. If you are practicing without this you are putting patients and yourself in danger.

No matter how much experience or education we have, we will encounter presentations we want to bounce off others.

I have a couple of experienced NP friends I talk to.

I am in an independent state, and work in LTC, but the threshold to send to the ER is relatively low. Dangerous? Call an ambulance.

Although independent, my state has some kind of vague and ambiguous language about maintaining a relationship and communicating with a hospital.

I am not solo, and I have 15 years of experience.
