Just got accepted!!

I just got accepted into nursing school! I don't plan on starting until Fall of 2013 though, so that I have time to finish as many pre-reqs as possible and save up money to live on while I'm in school. But, I am so exicited! :specs:

Congratulations!!!! That's wonderful news!!! :w00t:

Awesome! You're on your way to GREAT SUCCESS!

How did you already get accepted for fall 2013? My school won't accept anyone unless they've finished ALL their pre-reqs. And they certainly don't accept anyone that far ahead of time.

I applied at that odd time where class is basically filled, so I opted to enroll in the next Nursing I class, which would be next fall. They do rolling admissions, but won't let you into class until you finish the pre-reqs. Although, with my school you can do a lot of the "pre" reqs along with the nursing classes, I would just rather get them all out of the way so that I can concentrate only on nursing when I start. I can't fathom concentrating on clinicals and micro-biology [for example.]

Everyone else, thank you!!! :specs:

congrats!!! whaz the name of ur school?

Hooray! Good choice getting your pre/co-requisites out of the way. You will be able to focus more attention both on those classes and the nursing classes you start in 2013!

Thank you! And luchy, I know it isn't the best, but I got accepted into Bayonne Medical Center's School of Nursing in New Jersey. I'll just have to study, study, study and ask millions of questions. =]
